Red Road to the Moon
with the Grandmothers Malinali & Ana Itzpapaloti and Guerrero
March 21 - 24, 2016
Nowadays men are being included in the Moondance circles, since we entered another vibration, the vibration of the sixth sun, which is the age of Aquarius. Now men and women have the chance to make a change in the harmony between the Sun and the Moon.
This will provide the opportunity to the families of the future to have a more spiritual and committed life with our children and mother earth.
The dance is an opportunity to connect with our internal being and with the essences that life provides, the dance, the singing and being awake help our being enter into an elevated state of sensibility and value, life, health and family.
This spiritual tradition provides the quality of making us very sensitive and to love everything that has life and movement.
It is the Red Road from the heart, using a variety of techniques that connect us with the spirit.
The dance, the force of the moon and the masters of the night and nature, let us vibrate in harmony with the whole universe. Dancing as a family, united in one circle of love and good will, unifying our intentions of a better life, gives strength to our prayers to the creator."
In the era where many changes in the world are taking place, PachaMama is ready to reinforce the spine of the community by strengthening the bond between the dualities of the feminine and masculine, to each other, to the community and to our relationship with nature, that we call home.
The Mexica elders, Malinali, Guerrero from Mexico and Grandmother Itzpapaloti from Costa Rica will lead us through the "Moon Dance Dual": 4 nights of dancing under the full moon in a specific structure to which we give our time, our sleep, our regular meals, our prayers and songs. This is how we as a community offer what we can to the creator, to hear our gratitude, our requests and the wishes deep in our hearts. individually and as a community.
We start and finish each night with a short sweat lodge to open and close this prayer. During the day we rest and learn more about the Aztec/Mexica ways and the Red Road, realizing that we are walking together on the earth as one people and that we are not separate.
This Year PachaMama is completing 4 years of holding the Dual Dance on its land , graduating and fulfilling its commitment to this beautiful ceremony and path.
As a preparations to the 4 nights dancing prayer, we will have several activities in the week before in the spirit of the Red Road, such as:
- Mexica danza classes and ceremony
- Palabra (talks) with the Mexica elders.
Please bring a camping gear (a tarp to cover the tent in case of rain is recommended) for resting during the day.
