The Tibetan Buddhist tradition of Vipassana creates a structure of learning and practicing the techniques of mindfulness and bare attention, which are essential in order to come to an understanding of the mind.
The daily schedule will include Dharma teachings every day, with the opportunity to ask questions, sitting and walking meditation with instruction and guidance, evening body scan and deep relaxation.

LEELA VERITY has 10 years of meditation experience in the Zen, Vipassana and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. She lives in South Africa, where she is director and manager of SAT CHIT ANAND Buddhist Centre, a Sanskrit name that means Truth Consciousness Bliss. For the last 7 years, it has been her joy to conduct meditation courses, host teachings and retreats. Years before, she spent time traveling in India where she met her first spiritual teacher, Tyohar. She has studied Buddhism and Meditation in India, Nepal and France, under Tibetan Buddhist Masters, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. She is an ordained member of Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing, and spends time at his monastery in France every 2nd year, in retreat and receiving further teachings. She has written several articles on Buddhism published locally and in international magazines.

PURE LOVE workshop takes us on a joyous, magical journey through the enchanted cosmos of a sacred instrument – our voice.
During PURE LOVE we work individually as well as in a group, exploring our energy fields through sounds and colors, expanding our auras, clearing emotional and mental blockages, accessing divine memories and knowledge, and learning how to use our voice as an instrument of healing.

Amiti Ben-David is a unique healer, musician, and explorer of therapeutic
sounds and vibrations. After an intensive 3 years of studying performing arts in Israel, she travelled all over South and Central America, learning and working with local indigenous healers. She studied classical
guitar, composition and extensive music theory. Amiti has also studied
with Fabien Maman – a world renowned sound healer who developed
the tuning forks healing method as well as other sound and color
healing techniques.

Course: Journey to the Center

This 3 day workshop allows us to connect , from a meditative space, with our "hara“ or "tan tien“ – also called the "ocean of energy“ which is the physical and energetic center of the body-mind mechanism. Using Yoga postures (Asanas), the gentle movements of Tai Chi and breathing techniques of both arts, we enter a state of relaxation and alertness, becoming increasingly aware of the flow of our energy.

Veda Ela studied Ballet and Contemporary Dance at the National School of Buenos Aires, Argentina and started teaching at the age of 15. She did her first Yoga teacher training with Indra Devi. After her degree in Philosophy, she traveled and taught all over the world. In Ireland she studied at the Satyananda Sarasvati Yoga Institute. In Amsterdam supported physically disabled people with Yoga Therapy.
She lived in India in several ashrams  where she deepend her practice of Iyengar and Ashtanga style yoga as well as various meditation techniques.

Diving into the world of dance, movement and sound, awakening our energy, we move in-depth, inquiring through free flowing dance and guided exploration of movement.
We will observe the interrelations between our body and mind, discover how movement reflects beliefs and habits through which we relate to the world. By revealing our ‘body stories’ we ‘move’ into consciousness.


Auhentic Movement Workshop

'Authentic movement’ invokes the innate wisdom of the body and the reconnection to the source of our life energy, pulsing through the heart beat and rhythm of breath.
By freeing our body we become more alive, discovering the unique expression of ourselves in a playful and creative way, calling the dancer within to lead us through the dance of life.

Alaya holds a B.A in psychology and anthropology from "Ben Gurion University" in Israel. During her studies and the years to follow, she has been practicing in psychological and psychiatric institutes. Alaya was drawn to expressive arts and music and has been studying classic and modern Ballet for over 12 years. While traveling the world, the dance was revealed as a window to the soul, and became a life teacher, inviting her to participate in different movement meditations; Gurdjeff sacred dances with Jivan and the 5 Rhythms with Gabrielle Roth. Inspired by these forms, Alaya has been sharing classes of conscious-dance in PachaMama.

Tanmaya holds a B.A. in psychology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel and received an M.A. in Dance Movement Therapy. Tanmaya has been working as a dance movement therapist in Israel for the past several years, working with various populations in psychiatric and educational institutes. She has been dancing and practicing movement for many years, and has vast experience with different types of therapy while connecting therapy to meditation. Tanmaya has been leading movement classes and workshops both in Israel and in PachaMama.

Yaku Qayla has done the "shamanic trainings" I and II in the multiversity of the OSHO ashram, Pune-India. He has taken an active part in ceremonies, rituals and shamanic journeys in Greece, Mexico, Brazil and Costa Rica. His source of inspiration are the indigenous people and their wisdom. Currently he shares this inspiration with many brothers and sisters using the tools of "Sweatlodge" and the "American Indian medicine cards".

A 3 day journey into the Aztec tradition of honoring the earth, using native instruments and learning the original Aztec language of dance and prayer.  The ancient Mexican traditional workshop uses various plants and flowers that may inspire emotional and spiritual healing.  The workshop takes place in nature, around a fire, in a tipi and under the stars, learning songs for the creator spirit,

using drums, rattles, flutes, guitars and other instruments. The food prepared will be the original Aztec food that is grown from the pachamama land and prepared on the river...  You will make your own Aztec garb from white cotton and a red belt and headband, feather amulets from the exotic birds of the pachamama forest to be dressed and worn for the dance sessions. The dances will be to honor the sun, the rain, deer and corn. Participants will consult the Aztec calendar and receive their day and year signs to be drawn onto their new "mazla" or traditional wear. The workshop will include also a Flower ceremony, Dance ceremony and feather cleansing and blessings.  The last Flower, Song and Dance Ceremony will be in full dress, with feathers and instruments, songs and dance.

Awareness of behaviour patterns and fears resulting from early childhood traumas is the first and necessary step towards liberation. Nirav Yati has been surfing more than 12 years in Israel,
Sri Lanka and Costa Rica and worked as a certified lifeguard for 4 years. He studied Ayurvedic medicine and Yoga in Israel and is integrating this into his workshops. Lately he has established the New Wave Surf School in Costa Rica.

Arpito started surfing at the age of 13. For the last 7 years he has been living in Costa Rica, surfing different beaches around PachaMama and all over Costa Rica. He worked as a surfing instructor in North Carolina, California and here in Costa Rica. Arpito is a massage therapist since 1998 using several techniques such as holistic massage, cranio sacral balancing, reiki and more. He has been practicing yoga and meditation, leading and assisting different kinds of workshops and self inquiry retreats.

Adya's healing journey began with the study of Art Therapy and Reiki. In addition to 12 years of Yoga study, she was trained in Yoga Therapy at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandarim in South India. Adya also teaches prenatal yoga and worked as a doula for several years, utilizing the essence of yoga to support the birth process.

The Fire Season is represented by the Horse. To the Native Americans this
animal represents power and vitality. It is the symbol of unleashing the
elemental forces, like taking a wild ride.

The forest is changing its colors from green to golden yellows and is blooming with
exotic flowers. This season opens with various workshops including Gurdjieff Sacred
Dances, Primal Feelings and Yoga, before celebrating the equinox followed by the initiation of the Transformation Cycle of the season.
