Abuela Ana is known as Itzpapalotl the obsidian butterfly. Her tradition is Taina from Borinque. (Puerto Rico) She has been involved in the Moondance movement since 1995 with the original group of Abuelas led by Isabel Vega abuela del grupo originario de la Danza de Luna in México. She has her circle in Puriscal Costa Rica and holds a dance in February every year for 16 years. As well as co-leading the Dual Dance in Pachamama for 10 years. Through the circles that she has opened in Canada, Puerto Rico, Idaho, Switzerland, and Israel there is an awakening of consciousness for all women to take responsibility in this world and reconnect with their internal being where the truth is. Done by a strong transformation process and a powerful prayer.
