Reena is a performing artist, guide and visionary. She guides women to awaken to more of who they are through creative expression, devotion and deep listening rooted in the wisdom of the body. Reena is most passionate about holding space for women to awaken Shakti—primordial feminine energy—within their bodies as their greatest source of aliveness, creativity, sovereignty and love. The modalities she uses include; devotional dance and movement, freeing the voice, improvisation, dream/shadow work and ritual performance. Her teachings and performance life combine Eastern Tantric and dance training with over ten-years experience in Western somatic teachings from the lineage of Continuum Movement, Marion Woodman and Walking In Your Shoes (WIYS). She is a facilitator of WIYS, Maiden Mother Rites of Passage with The MotherSpirit and holds a certification in Drama Therapy from the Center of Living Arts. She has been initiated into the Sri Vidya Tantric lineage by her late guru, Sri Amritananda Natha Sarasvati. She offers her devotion to the Mother through her creative path and service to life.
