Course Requirements

Adya and Velan’s approach is to connect you deeper with yourself so you can teach in your own personal style, from your own experience and inner guidance. Also, people who don’t intend to actually become teachers are welcome to join the training, for it will be a beautiful journey of personal growth and transformation.

The training is open for yogis of different experience levels. The only Requirement is Enthusiasm for Yoga and self-inquiry. It is very helpful to have people of mixed levels in the training, so the teachers-to-be can practice how to work with less experienced clients.

The two required books for our training are:
The Key Muscles of Yoga: Scientific Keys, Volume I - By Ray Long
Anatomy of the Spirit, the Seven Stages of Power and Healing - By Caroline Myss

Costa Rica

The community of PachaMama is unique among communities in Costa Rica. It allows each and every one to live with authenticity, close to nature and in harmony with the cycles of silence, meditation and celebration. What unites the village is the shared journey of awareness- a meeting of individuals beyond personalities and ideas. The intention to live a conscious life, looking into the mirror of one’s true self, is what binds the community together.
