“The Silent Retreat will point to that presence of wisdom that is your true nature. Over and over it will reflect your selflessness the impersonal consciousness that you are.
There is no ‘you’ anymore. Only this wisdom is; only this presence of consciousness. A state of being which is beyond the self and which rests in untouched silence, in unconditional contentment. This is the freedom that is shared in satsang.”
– Excerpt from Satsang with Tyohar
A unique 7 Days Journey Into Silence, Presence, and Meditation.
Step away from noise, distraction, and mental overload and enter a deeply supported field of silence, meditation, yoga, and self-inquiry in the heart of Pachamama Eco Village in Costa Rica. During the retreat, the entire Pachamama community enters silence together, creating a rare atmosphere of collective presence and stillness.
Suitable for both experienced practitioners and first-time silent retreat participants. Guided by Tyohar and the Pachamama facilitation team
This is also a spiritual cleanse on a collective level, an inner shower for all of PachaMama. Non-participants help maintain a meditative atmosphere by refraining from speaking in all public areas in order for the entire village to tune into this frequency.
The program includes Satsang with Tyohar twice a day, some will be recordings of previous satsangs and some with Tyohar.
A daily practice of Yoga as well as various forms of meditation and is concluded with a Sweatlodge down by the river.
Participants are asked for a sincere commitment to the standard of the retreat and will remain in absolute silence until the process is brought to completion in the closing circle.
The Silent Retreat is a guided immersion into silence held within the natural environment and transformational field of Pachamama.
For one week, participants step away from speaking, social roles, schedules, and external demands in order to reconnect with themselves more deeply. The retreat combines meditation, silent sitting, movement, nature, inquiry, and periods of rest within a held container.
Rather than escaping life, the retreat creates space to listen more honestly to your inner experience and what is asking for attention.
Silent Retreats occur several times a year at PachaMama. The December Silent Retreat is part of the Transformation Cycle but is open to everyone.
During this retreat, you can expect:
Structured periods of seated meditation and guided silence to help quiet mental noise and deepen awareness.
Immersion in Pachamama’s jungle environment, with opportunities for walking, reflection, and reconnection with the natural world.
Gentle yoga, breathwork, or embodiment practices designed to support nervous system regulation and presence.
A break from devices, social pressure, and constant input, allowing the body and mind to settle naturally.
Space to explore meaningful inner questions, patterns, emotions, and life direction with greater clarity.
Even within silence, participants are supported by the shared presence of the group and the guidance of experienced facilitators.
Participants get their word back in the Sweatlodge down by the river. This ritual concludes the retreat.
