In today’s fast-paced world, we often overlook the signs of stress that manifest within our bodies. This workshop is a sanctuary to slow down, reconnect, and listen to the wisdom of the somatic experience.
Through a combination of yoga asana, somatic movement, pranayama, meditation, and inquiry, participants will learn to identify and embrace the body’s subtle markers of stress with patience and curiosity.
– Understanding Your Somatic Stress Scale:
Uncover the unique markers of stress that arise in your body and recognize the signals of rising tension.
– Self-Regulation Techniques:
Learn to self-regulate your nervous system using tools that activate the parasympathetic response, increase vagal tone, and foster a sense of safety within the body.
– Window of Tolerance:
Explore techniques to expand your window of tolerance, helping you navigate stressful situations with clarity, presence, and resilience.
– Noticing Dysregulation & Shifting Attention:
Develop the skill to track your mental and emotional experience in real-time, learning how to shift your focus between open awareness and specific attention to support health and well-being.
– Tracking Stress and Staying Regulated:
Discover how to identify your body’s unique stress signals, name them, and apply tools to maintain self-regulation, even in moments of rising tension.
During these five days, you’ll be guided through over 30 hours of rich, experiential learning designed to take you beyond cognitive thinking and into the vast intelligence of your body.
Through deep practice and compassionate inquiry, you’ll cultivate greater authenticity and resilience, empowering you to stay regulated and grounded no matter what life throws your way.
