Through embodied theatre, movement, storytelling, masks, improvisation, and relational play, this immersive workshop explores the protective patterns and inner archetypes shaped by life experience.
Within a playful and carefully facilitated environment, creativity becomes a way of listening. Movement, imagination, and relationship open pathways toward greater emotional expression, authenticity, and presence.
Some forms of understanding begin through words. Others emerge through movement, play, imagination, and the body.
The Archetype Within is for those who feel drawn to creative exploration as a way of understanding themselves more deeply. Previous theatre experience is not required. Curiosity, openness, and a willingness to participate are enough.
This workshop may resonate with people who feel creatively blocked, wish to express emotions more freely, are moving through personal change, or are simply interested in discovering new ways of relating to themselves and others.
Those looking for acting training, performance coaching, or a traditional theatre course may find that the focus of this workshop is different. The emphasis is not performance, but embodied exploration and personal inquiry.
Throughout three days, drama therapy and expressive arts become a language for exploring patterns that often remain beneath conscious awareness.
Movement, improvisation, masks, storytelling, guided exercises, and relational practices create opportunities to meet familiar roles with fresh attention. Some moments are playful, others reflective, each inviting a deeper relationship with creativity, emotion, and authentic expression.
The process unfolds gradually, allowing insight to arise through experience rather than analysis.
Archetypes are recurring patterns of behaviour, emotion, and identity that can shape the way people relate to themselves and to others. Some offer strength, protection, and resilience. Others may have developed as responses to earlier experiences and continue long after they are no longer needed.
Rather than attempting to remove these parts, this workshop approaches them with curiosity. Through embodied practice and creative exploration, familiar roles can be recognised, understood, and expressed in new ways.
Participants will explore a variety of experiential practices, including:
Every exercise is an invitation rather than a performance, creating space for participation at an individual pace.

Art of the Heart – Testimony by Katrina Blair
Omi’s style of facilitating Art of the Heart is a true art accessing the realms of deep personal transformation. He merges fierce honesty with compassionate tenderness to create a playground of authentic expression. Our group was guided with humor, directness, confrontation and kindness while being held in safety and encouragement to really break free. As we opened to the spontaneous moments together, obstacles fell away through the dance, the games, and theater. I grew into new dimensions of myself as I let myself go and found more space to inhabit my truest nature. I am eternally grateful to this incredible life changing experience of being invited to embody the wisdom of the heart.
