6:30 – 7:30am – Morning awareness practice
8:30 – 10:30am – Learning & experimenting with different elements for improving Movement
10:45 – 12:15pm – Integration practice.
Using breath to dissolve tension as if it never existed and enhancing focus and awareness to move with the economy of energy.
Exploring the benefits of guided imagery while recruiting the muscles to connect to the energy body; increasing range of motion and functionality.
Using repertoire from Yoga, Pilates, Gyrokinesis, and Chi Gong to challenge the integrity of movement, to find a synergy of new elements to improve our practice, each one at their own level whether beginners or advanced practitioners.
This workshop opens with a morning practice of movement and meditation. Riding the flow of the breath, learn to gently stretch each of the different planes of motion to release tension and prepare for the day.
In the mid-morning session, use the spiraling, undulating movements of Gyrokinesis to articulate the movements of the spine. Learn the ideal biomechanics for optimal movement of the arms and legs.
Each day will conclude with a challenging class that combines yoga vinyasa and Pilates – modified to each individual’s level – that integrates each of the elements learned in the morning sessions.
