Amara’s spiritual journey began in 1997 with the recognition that his healing is his responsibility. He began exploring different types of therapy and alternative healing. He studied Chinese medicine philosophy and spent time in Asia exploring its tradition and wisdom.

In 2000, Amara came to Costa Rica and joined the team that founded PachaMama.

Clarity Breathwork 

is an efficient way to shed light over our past and understand how it is sabotaging our present moment and prevent us from moving forward .The breath guides us and helps us to release what does not serve us any more while creating space for healing and growth.                                       

Psychosomatic Healing 

Our mental and emotional state is usually reflected in our bodies. When we think and feel good, our bodies are good and healthy and when we think/feel bad the body follows as well. We will deeply understand this phenomena of body-mind connection and apply neural plasticity which is a modern way to evolve our state of mind, perceptions and attitudes.              

Stress Management 

Stress management or as Amara likes to call it efficient energy management is a simple and effective way to understand, discharge and regulate our nervous system, providing more resilience and harmony in our daily lives. In the session you will learn how your nervous system is working, what stress is and how you can help your body to find the balance you long for.                                            

Empathy and the Art of Communication 

Based on non violent communication (NVC). And the exploration of empathy Amara provides tools for healthy and efficient communication whether its in intimate relationship (including couples work)  working environment and other challenging situations. When we have the ability to communicate our needs and feelings and ask clear requests, we find it easy to collaborate, create and come in connection with others.                                                                                                                           

 



Biofeedback 

is using technology to reflect on our inner state with the ability to evolve it in real time while getting a feedback. We will use a heart-math device to monitor our heart rate variation -this will give us an Indication for the level of coherency in our body . during the session we will learn how to increase the level of coherency using breath and meditation.
