The Volunteer Program is designed for people who want to contribute, learn, and become part of the daily rhythm of life at PachaMama.
Step into the rhythm of Pachamama Eco Village
through conscious contribution and community
living. The Volunteer Program is a unique
opportunity to immerse yourself in daily life,
support the village with heartful presence, and
embark on a personal journey of growth and
transformation. All of this while enjoying a beautiful beach that is closeby, River Rosario, daily yoga classes and a events program filled with singing circles, dances, art nights and more.
You get to taste test the chocolate and juices, and also opening the pipas to collect all the coconut water, loved my job.
The people are my favourite thing, and to balance all the workshops with the volunteering work, I learnt a lot from that.
We live so close to nature, I love to sit out at night, watch the stars and just to feel her.

Within a few minutes walking-distance from the village center, the camping area offers shady campsites for travelers who prefer a more rustic adventure amidst the banana trees and wildlife. The camping area is complete with established tent pads, dry composting toilets, and cold water showers, but all campers need to bring their own tents and camping equipment. Lockers and hot showers are available for campers in the village centre. There is Wifi available in the camping.
Due to weather conditions, camping is available only from December through April.
The minimum commitment for the Volunteer Program is 6 weeks. This allows enough time to settle into community life, learn your role, and fully experience the program.
Volunteer roles vary based on the community’s current needs and your skills. Opportunities may include kitchen support, recycling, gardening, cacao bar, maintenance, guest services, event support, and other operational tasks that help the village run smoothly.
Volunteers typically contribute 4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Schedules vary depending on the role and the needs of the community.
We ask volunteers to arrive on their agreed start date and commit to the full length of their stay. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but reliability is important for both the team and the community.
